Dennison, TX, November 2016. Kodak 35 and Ilford Delta.
This was taken with a Kodak's first consumer 35mm camera that used the roll cartridge that is currently still in production. It's a rangefinder with a teeny tiny focusing window that splits an out of focus image into two hemispheres. The frame is is focus when the two halves line up. It's a giant pain in the ass to use -- the range finder wheel has teeth that hurt your fingers and is tight to turn, and the focusing window is so small it's hard to tell if you're in focus most of the time -- but it (sometimes) produces clear photographs with a noir cachet that's hard to beat.
